Weigh Scale staff and bin attendants professional. Well organised bin area with signs to direct waste streams. Household Hazardous Waste, as well as Electronics, metal recycling available on site.

Absurd rules for public landowners, yet the Ontario government can do whatever they want to the environment, destroying everything in their path. Seperate rules for government bodies, run by who? The government!

This place is a gem if you come prepared - you can walk for easily 2 hours right here in town. In the spring you WILL need rubber boots, in the summer you WILL need bug spray. One consideration is that the terrain is rough and there isn't a great spot to sit down en route, so it's not a great option for anyone with limited mobility. Perfect if you have a dog that needs a LOT of exercise, there is an off-leash area with a Flick with a Stick policy.
